I moved to Arizona six years ago and have proudly made it my home. I grew up in the beautiful open spaces of Wyoming, where I spent my time immersed in sports and outdoor activities, experiences that shaped my work ethic and sense of adventure. I later moved to Oregon to attend Portland State University, where I earned my Bachelor of Science in Criminology and Criminal Justice.

After graduating, I began my legal career with the Multnomah County District Attorney’s Office, working in the Homicide and Gang Unit. This experience gave me an early, meaningful look into the complexities of the justice system. I then relocated to South Lake Tahoe, California, where I worked as a legal advocate and Outreach Educator for a nonprofit supporting victim of violence, while also gaining experience in family law. There, I developed strong skills in client communication, relationship-building, community collaboration, and project management. I also helped design and lead a successful risk prevention program for youth affected by trauma and family violence that ultimately reinforced my long-standing goal of attending law school.

Rather than taking a traditional path, I chose to spend several years gaining hands-on experience in the legal field before pursuing my Juris Doctor. I attended Arizona State University’s Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law, where I gained practical trial experience and contributed to a successful defense in a complex multi-claim civil litigation case. During law school, I interned with a criminal defense firm, which further solidified my passion for defense work. I also expanded my experience into other areas that I especially enjoyed, including insurance defense, working with firms that represent clients in complex civil matters. I particularly enjoy the strategic aspects of litigation, including deposition preparation and trial preparation, where attention to detail and thorough analysis are critical. My diverse legal background across multiple roles has given me a well-rounded perspective on litigation strategy, client advocacy, and case management.

Outside of my professional life, I enjoy spending time outdoors—whether hiking, snowboarding, playing tennis or softball, or being near the water. I love attending country concerts, traveling when I can, and making meaningful memories with friends and family, who are incredibly important to me. I also enjoy writing, music, and playing darts. At home, I’m kept company by my adorable cat, Benny.
